Trendy Pet on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Sunday Jan. 29th

ABC's popular television series "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" recently helped out the DeAeth family of Washington, Texas. Their home and animal shelter were selected for the renovation project because they were in poor condition. The show's producers were moved by Dale and Melanie DeAeth's commitment to animals and their shelter — True Blue Animal Rescue.
As part of the makeover, Trendy Pet of Hudsonville, Michigan, was contacted to provide raised feeders for the shelter. Trendy Pet provided "Extreme Makeover" with seven feeders that were used in the project. Trendy Pet raised feeders will be featured throughout the kennel and in the family’s new house!
"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" airs Sundays at 8:00 p.m. on ABC. The episode featuring the DeAeth family is scheduled to air January 29, 2006.
Trendy Pet (www.TrendyPet.com), a web based company, was founded in 2002 by Dave and Bob Poortvliet. Through Bob's experience as a design engineer and Dave's expertise in web design, the company was born. Trendy Pet offers modern style raised pet feeders for all size pets as well as custom built feeders to meet special needs.
By raising the bowls up off the floor, these unique feeders help animals maintain better posture (especially important for older dogs); aid digestions as food moves from mouth to stomach more quickly and easily; reduce stress on the canine forearm/wrist area; and lessen "leaning" which relieves stress on the hip and shoulder areas. Trendy Pet ships its feeders worldwide.
